What is Homeward Bound?

Homeward Bound of Central Indiana is a five kilometer fundraising walk conducted each year which Christian Help, Inc. participates in to earn funds to provide help for many families in need for the Johnson County, Indiana area. These funds raised will help the homeless or near homeless with shelter, food, and other emergency assistance needs.

To Make a General Donation to CHI

• Link to http://homewardboundindiana.org/central.org for the Central Indiana (Indianapolis) location.
• Click on "Donate Today."
• On the next screen click on "Make a General Donation."
• Next is a screen that lists all Central Indiana (Indianapolis) agencies that you can make a direct donation. Please be sure to select Christian Help, Inc. in the box indicated to the left of its name from this list of agencies.
• Scroll down the page and click on the "NEXT" button.
• The next screen will ask you to enter the amount you wish to donate.
• Then fill in the payment information to make your online donation.
• When you are finished entering all the information required on this form, click the "Make Donation and Charge My Credit Card" button to complete this process.

Find A Team To Donate On Behalf Of

• Link to http://homewardboundindiana.org/central.org for the Central Indiana (Indianapolis) location.
• Click on "Donate Today."
• On the next screen click on "Find a Team to Donate on Behalf of."
• Next is a screen that lists all Central Indiana (Indianapolis) Walk Teams that you can make a direct donation. Please be sure to select Christian Help, Inc. by clicking on its name listed in the "Team Name" column.
• The very next screen will display the team name along with what organizations they are raising money for.  Please be sure Christian Help, Inc. is listed with this team.
• If Christian Help, Inc. is on the team's list, click on "Donate on Behalf of This Team," which is located on the righthand side of this screen.
• The next screen will ask you to enter the amount you wish to donate.
• Then fill in the payment information to make your online donation.
• When you are finished entering all the information required on this form, click the "Make Donation and Charge My Credit Card" button to complete this process.

Find A Walker To Donate On Behalf Of

• Link to http://homewardboundindiana.org/central.org for the Central Indiana (Indianapolis) location.
• Click on "Donate Today."
• On the next screen click on "Find a Walker to Donate on Behalf of."
• Next is a screen that allows you to search for a person's last or first name. Once you enter a name click on the "Search" button and all names that match will be displayed on your screen.
• Click on the person's name in the "Name" column. The next page will display all the organizations that this person will be raising money for.
• If Christian Help, Inc. is on the person's list, click on "Donate on Behalf of This Team," which is located on the righthand side of this screen.
• The next screen will ask you to enter the amount you wish to donate.
• Then fill in the payment information to make your online donation.
• When you are finished entering all the information required on this form, click the "Make Donation and Charge My Credit Card" button to complete this process.

Register For The Walk

• Link to http://homewardboundindiana.org/central.org for the Central Indiana (Indianapolis) location.
• Click on "Register to Walk."
• The registration screen will be displayed entitled "Register for Homeward Bound." This screen allows you to register (1) a new team, or (2) join an existing team.
  Note:  If you do choose to register with an existing team, please be sure that they are raising money to help Christian Help, Inc.
• Fill in the registration form and select one of the two registration options indicated in item No. 3 above. Once you fill in all the required information, scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click on the "Register" button to complete this process.
